Shooting near Chicano Park injures 31-year-old man [Breaking]
A 31-year-old man was shot during a brief confrontation Sunday morning near Chicano Park, San Diego police said.
The victim was walking on Logan Avenue about 5:45 a.m. when a gray or champagne-colored, four-door car pulled up, police said. Two male occupants got out of the car, and — “after a brief verbal exchange” — one of them shot the victim three times, police Officer Sarah Foster said.The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. His injuries were serious but not life-threatening, Foster said.
