As cost of living pressures are up across the board Australian shoppers have blasted Coles for the supermarket giant's latest price hike to a grocery favourite.

Supermarket giants Coles and Woolworths confirmed supply chain disruptions had resulted in strawberry prices being higher than usual.

“I was going to buy some berries for breakfast tomorrow, but f**k, they’re $10.90... for a box of strawberries,” a man complains in aThe man can also be heard criticising the cost of blueberries and raspberries noting the higher than usual price tag."Let them rot on the shelf at that price," wrote one person."What a waste of food honestly, who is gonna buy that," added a third.

"We can’t wait until strawberry season is in full swing when Aussies will be able to enjoy them in abundance.”
