Former Labor leader Bill Shorten has ridiculed the COVIDSafe app as “another expensive dud” after it was revealed the app was barely used to track cases of community transmission of the virus.
Following a recent spike in community transmission in Victoria and New South Wales, there were reportedly no contacts identified solely through the COVIDSafe app, which was touted as Australia’s ticket to freedom.
