A video of the two going back and forth at practice has caused a ripple across sports media — an unsurprising one, if you ask Prescott.
Prescott said he felt sorry for some sports commentators making a fuss about the trash talk. but he also noted he’s not surprised at the criticism directed his way.“At this point, nothing really surprises me what people say,” Prescott said. “As I said, I’ve been in this for eight years, been the quarterback for this team, had some success, had some adversity. Nothing surprises me. At times, when I see certain things [in the media], I generally feel bad for them.
Feel bad that they have to give that much attention, or that much feelings and emotions into [something that’s] not their life and judge people off their perspective. That’s how it is. I wouldn’t want it] any other way”Prescott compared the trash-talking to growing up as the younger brother in Louisiana, where he had to get into it with his two older siblings.Prescott called the best part of training camp Tuesday’s trash-talking moment with Diggs.
