Opposition leader Peter Dutton has hit out at the Albanese government after it was reported a group of Chinese asylum seekers had arrived on Australian mainland.
Sources told Sky News an estimated 13 Chinese nationals walked on to the Truscott airbase, an extremely remote part of the Kimberly region in the far north of Western Australia , about 1pm on Friday.

Picture: NCA NewsWire / John Appleyard "It shouldn't come as any surprise to Australians because Anthony Albanese was the deputy prime minister to Julia Gillard when there was the last disaster on our borders," he said.
"We don't want to see people drowning at sea again, we don't want to see boats re-start, we want to make sure we have an orderly migration program, and that's the responsibility of the government."
