Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust hosts its annual open day
Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust’s Annual Open Weekend will welcome thousands of visitors on October 8 and 9 for a weekend filled with vintage automobiles, vehicle restoration, and free trips on a vintage bus.Driver Archie Houliston gears up for GVVT’s Open WeekendThe free services and tours featuring more than 30 classic buses will give visitors the opportunity to step back in time and enjoy a taste of vintage Glasgow.
The event will be hosted at the Bridgeton Bus Garage with the Trust’s collection of 130 classic buses, lorries, and fire engines as well as guest vehicles from across the UK. Steven Booth, chairman of the trust, said: “This is our showpiece event of the year with something to appeal to everyone, from kids to grandparents and from the general public to the keen enthusiast. “We pull out all the stops on our bus service and themed excursions – a real chance to go on a nostalgic trip.
