With travel reopening after the pandemic, CEOs didn’t miss the chance. Leading CEOs went to Italy, India, New Zealand, Dubai and Fiji to take in the local food and atmosphere, and recharge.

Leading CEOs took full advantage of the return to offshore travel in 2022 after two years of being stuck within Australia’s borders.

We had a short trip to Thailand in June for my husband’s birthday, but Sicily was our first big trip since pre-COVID.We started in Palermo. We went east, then we backtracked west and went to Favignana, one of the islands. It is so rustic, so stunning. I loved it.The people and culture are an example of embracing both life and the season, which grounds you in the moment.

As a family, there were so many wonderful memories of going to school in a bus with no windows, tropical thunderstorms in the afternoon and hours swimming in the pool with my two younger brothers, but the fondest memory was of the beautiful warmth and hospitality of the Fijian people.
