In a PlayStation trophy date report, it's been revealed that two-thirds of players are getting stuck in Sifu's second level and not progressing.
A recent data report has revealed that two-thirds of players are having a hard time with Sifu, and haven't progressed past the martial arts brawler's second level. Despite being fun, Sifu's extreme difficulty and complex controls have made its levels punishing for players.
Developed by Slocap, Sifu is the studio's first title released since its debut martial arts-themed action roleplaying video game Absolver almost four years ago. Known as one of the most anticipated games of 2022, Sifu drops players into a playable martial arts flick, blending cinematic, quick-hitting, hand-to-hand combat with a unique, roguelike aging mechanic that heightens the challenge and keeps the action interesting.
While the repetition coupled with the game’s severe difficulty is putting off players, the lack of accessibility also plays an important role and the developers are working hard on delivering new options. In a recent update, Sloclap revealed that Sifu will receive a number of accessibility features through post-launch updates. These updates will make the game easier for certain players to pick up by including adjustable difficulty and contrast modes, as well as better captions.
Sifu is a challenging yet eccentric fighting game that deserves to be enjoyed and experienced by players from beginning to end. While the game currently suffers from difficulty spikes that are stopping players from enjoying the title, post-launch updates will soon rectify that issue, so players can look forward to jumping back into the fast-paced martial arts title.Sifu is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Epic Game Store. .
