Lincoln's MP was one of just seven to back Boris Johnson in the Commons
The curtain has fallen on Boris Johnson’s career and the Partygate scandal as MPs overwhelmingly supported sanctions last night – but Lincolnshire MPs who dissented have avoided questions.

We contacted Caroline Johnson and Lia Nici, who were each given around ten minutes to voice their opinions in the House of Commons on Monday. No response was received by the time of publication.Cleethorpes MP Martin Vickers was one of just two Greater Lincolnshire MPs, along with Scunthorpe’s Holly Mumby-Croft, to break ranks and vote in support of the committee – which he said was the “correct thing to do”.
“Having read the report in full and spoken to leading members of the local Conservative Party as well as constituents I decided that the correct thing to do was support the Committee recommendations.
