Football Insider has been told by Gabby Agbonlahor that Bernardo Silva may have asked for a release clause in his new Man City contract to allow him to make a 'dream' move to Barcelona.

The Portugal international has been the subject of widely reported long-term interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Silva played a huge role for the treble-winners in the 2022-23 campaign, notching seven goals and eight assists in 55 appearances across all competitions. He joined Man City in 2017 and has made 308 appearances for the club, winning a host of trophies – including five Premier League titles.
