Ben Simmons has sent a warning to the rest of the league with a monster triple-double performance in his Philadelphia 76ers' victory over the Detroit Pistons.The Aussie reminded everyone just why he's considered an NBA All Star, finishing the match with 16 points, a career-high 17 assists and 13 rebounds in his second triple-double of the season.
Philadelphia were hot from three-point range with eight of Simmons' 17 assists coming from down-town.But today's performance will hold a special place in the heart of 7-year-old Auggie, who drove all the way from Cincinnati to Detroit. The young kid stole the hearts of fans with an adorable sign stating, "all I want for Christmas is to meet Ben Simmons".
