Simple Minds' Jim Kerr has won a prestigious radio award for his documentary about Jim Morrison.
The Simple Minds frontman was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Documentary at the New York Festivals International Radio Awards in New York City on Tuesday night for Jim Kerr on Jim Morrison.
The documentary was written and presented by Jim and explores the enduring legacy of Jim Morrison who has inspired him since his childhood.
