Breakthrough for breast cancer as simple saliva test could spot women at a highest risk years earlier, saving thousands of under-50s
Test could be valuable to identify under-50s at higher genetic risk of cancer. Researchers want one-off genetic test to be rolled out to women at around 30. It is well before the age of which they become eligible for mammograms at 50.
