Cody Simpson has addressed partner Emma McKeon’s uncertain future after the Olympics hero’s recent confession the Paris 2024 Olympics will be her final Games.
Australia ’s golden couple are heading into unfamiliar territory, with their lives set for a major shake-up following the Paris Games, which will be 29-year-old McKeon’s third Olympic appearance.Simpson has been more secretive about his future plans and has repeatedly said he has not made his mind up about continuing in swimming or returning to his music career .The pop artist has given a candid answer about what his relationship with McKeon will look like post- Paris .
“I’m very fortunate to be someone who has a lot of things on the other side to look forward to regardless and another passion and career entirely that I am able to pursue again depending on what I decide on out of the pool.The decision may not be his to make. The talented junior swimmer has already surpassed most expectations, showing impressive improvement and claiming relay gold and silver medals from the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Simpson then competed in the 100m freestyle final on Saturday night, but the results weren’t any more promising.
