Civilians are urged to take shelter during the morning rush hour as Russia launches a barrage of missiles at Ukraine, hitting high-voltage facilities and infrastructure across the country, according to officials.

The air alert will be long," said Maksym Marchenko, regional governor of the southern region of Odesa.The attack on Zaporizhzhia was the heaviest since Russia invaded Ukraine in February last year, local officials said.
