Six high school students in north Queensland were hospitalized after ingesting an unknown substance. The students, from William Ross State School in Townsville, required medical attention and were taken to Townsville University Hospital. The incident is currently being investigated by the Department of Education.
Six high school students are being treated in hospital after ingesting an “ unknown substance ” in north Queensland . The alarm was raised with emergency services just before 10.30am on Wednesday that several students at William Ross State School in Townsville had ingested an “ unknown substance ” and required medical attention. Queensland Ambulance Service said six students were taken to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition. Police were also called to the school.
The Department of Education said it is investigating the incident
