Around 9am today emergency services were notified of the blaze at a property on Arundel Street, Glebe.
Before firefighters arrived at the scene, police officers entered the flaming house to rescue three people trapped inside.A house fire in Sydney's Inner West saw three people rescued, and six police officers hospitalised with smoke inhalation. Six of the officers were taken to nearby Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment after inhaling deadly amounts of smoke.A crime scene has been established and inquiries are continuing to determine the cause of the fire.
