Peacock announced they’ve ordered the long-awaited ‘Community’ spin-off film, which will follow some of our favorite community college students, including Joel McHale, Danny Pudi and Alison Brie.
"Community" is so beloved that the NBCUniversal described negotiations as"highly competitive" in the press release . As part of the deal, Peacock will also receive the streaming rights to the show's full library.
"'Six seasons and a movie' started out as a cheeky line from 'Community''s early seasons and quickly ignited a passionate fan movement for this iconic, hilarious and cool NBC comedy," NBCUniversal exec Susan Rovner said."We're incredibly grateful that 15 years later, we are able to deliver fans this promised movie."
