Heartbreaking news to report
A six-year-old boy has become the fourth child to die after being recovered from a frozen lake over the weekend. West Midlands Police says that the child has died in hospital after being one of those pulled from the lake at Babbs Mill Park in Solihull on Sunday .
In a statement, the force said: "It is with heartfelt sadness that we have to report this afternoon, the six-year-old in hospital has lost his fight for life. Our deepest sympathies are with the families and friends of those involved in this tragedy.
