Thousands of people in the NSW Northern Rivers region are reliving the trauma of the disastrous flooding that struck 12 months ago.

Many flood victims have criticised the state government for an ineffective response to their pleas for help.

Sky News Weather Presenter Rhiannon Elston presents a special broadcast looking at the recovery effort in Lismore 12 months on from the deadly and devastating flood emergency of 2022.Adam Walters is on the ground in Lismore talking to locals fed up with what they call a slow government response.
