Sky News host Peta Credlin accuses Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of mishandling Palestinian visas, following revelations that over 2,000 people with Palestinian Authority travel documents have been granted Australian visas in a short period of time.

Sky News host Peta Credlin has accused Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of “doing a dodgy” with the Palestinian visas. The Opposition on Thursday criticised the federal government ’s handling of the Palestinian visas following Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson 's revelation earlier this week that 2,273 people who hold a Palestinian Authority travel document have been given Australian visas between October 7 and February 6.

Deputy Secretary of Immigration Michael Willard admitted to Senate Estimates that the medium processing time for a visitor visa globally is just one day. “Frankly, when it comes to border security, this government is having a lend of us yet again,” Ms Credlin said. “We should not be bringing anyone to Australia – from Gaza – unless we are as sure as we can be that they are not a security risk.
