OAKLAND — A 25-year-old mother of four asleep inside her East Oakland home was in critical condition Monday morning after someone deliberately fired multiple shots into the residence from outside, authorities said.The shooting happened about 1:19 a.m. Monday at an apartment in the 1400 block of 92nd Avenue.
Police said the woman was asleep in a bedroom when at least one person standing outside fired multiple rounds through a bedroom wall, hitting her once in the back.The shooter fled before police and paramedics got to the apartment.
