A surprise slowdown in inflation and drops in average property value could force the Reserve Bank of Australia to rethink its plans to increase interest rates next year.
Australia’s annual inflation rate has dropped from 7.3 per cent to 6.
9 per cent, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ latest CPI data.
