They will no longer appear at the EuroVillage

Slovenia's Eurovision 2023 representative, Joker Out, will no longer appear at the EuroVilllage to perform.

The band were to take to the stage tonight but made a last-minute call to step down due to unforeseen sickness. A representative for the band told the Liverpool Echo: "Sadly we've had to cancel our gig at Eurovillage today as two members of our band fell ill." Tonight is the first broadcast Semi-Final but Joker Out make their debut in the second, meaning the illness will hopefully not impact their performance on Thursday night. The EuroVillage will still see a stellar lineup of performers take to the stage. The English National Opera will accompany Liverpool legend Sonia and the first Ukrainian Eurovision winner, Ruslana, as they perform a medley of their greatest hits.

This year's Belgian and Greek entries - Gustaph, Victor Vernicos - will performer before the EuroVillage broadcasts the live Semi-Finals. Following the screening, local DJs including Natasha Kitty Kat, DJ Fairhurst, and Josh Aitman and Snoodman Deejay will bring the party to a close around midnight.Join our Eurovision Whatsapp community to get the latest news sent to your phone
