Tires squealed and smoke from burning rubber filled the air as cars did donuts outside the KIRO 7 studios this weekend.

Dozens of people gathered at the intersection of Third Avenue and Clay Street in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood at about 7 p.m. on Saturday to watch the street show.

Many had their phones out to record the action as the cars spun around dangerously close to bystanders amid cheers.Officers are expected to release information about the gathering.
