We could see a bit of the white stuff
Forecasters are warning snow could hit parts of Nottinghamshire next week, as the weather continues to turn colder. Temperatures will dive to highs of just 2C by the middle of next week, according to the Met Office, with overnight lows of a bracing -3C.
Currently, the Met Office does not have snow predicted in its chart for Nottingham, though in its UK long-range weather forecast it says: "It will likely continue to be cold with further showers for much of the UK, which will fall as sleet and snow across the north leading to some accumulations of snow across higher ground.

Speaking to our sister website Leicestershire Live on the possibility of snow over the border, weather expert Phil Morrish said: "An area of high pressure over Scandinavia is now controlling our weather with winds coming in from the north east until Wednesday.
