The Bureau of Meteorology's duty forecaster Michael Halfpenny said in the cusp between spring and summer, it wasn't unusual to see cold spells in Melbourne."In the next few days we’re certainly going to see temperatures well below average," he said. An umbrella will remain a handy accessory, according to Mr Halfpenny, with scattered showers for most of the week in Victoria's south.
