The former Liverpool and Leeds great has spent the past six years coaching Premier League youth teams and in England's lower leagues, most recently with Barnet.
Former Socceroos and Liverpool legend Harry Kewell will join Ange Postecoglou at Celtic in his highest-profile coaching appointment since retiring in 2014
After a glittering playing career that included winning the Champions League with Liverpool and amassing almost 60 caps for Australia, Kewell retired from the game in 2014 and immediately began his coaching badges. "I know he is hugely excited about joining Celtic. He is well aware of the scale of the club, what our ambitions are. I know he will make a really positive difference to my team."
Harry Kewell is another member of the Socceroos' "Golden Generation" who have moved from playing to coaching, alongside John Aloisi .
