Ensure that code is operational and ready for deployment by:Fixing bugs and rewriting code when necessary.Resolving bugs and errors identified during testing.4. Develop integrations to ensure dataflow between different internal and external systems and platforms: Clearly defining and clarifying the sending and receiving systems and developing technical specifications for required integrations.Ensuring the development of code to integrate new functionality into existing applications.5. Ensuring system uptime through maintenance and support by:Reviewing code on a frequent basis and adjusting as necessary to ensure proper working of the programme.Continually update documentation for all programmes for internal and external reference.6. Project managing system deployments and changes by:Tracking progress against milestone dates and reporting on progress.7.Regularly meeting with IT colleagues to identify, agree and prioritise IT programming priorities. Regularly meeting with the Software Development team members and his/her manager to report progress, raise issues and brainstorm solutions. Building a network of external peers that are equally specialised in software development and leveraging their network to learn, obtain information and stay informed of trends.2.
