the lineup for this year's Soho Horror Film Festival in London has been revealed, with in-person and remote festival screenings.
The festival will feature over thirty features and 50 short films from around the world, running from November 24 – 26, 2023, at the Whirled Cinema in Brixton, London.
It’s also a hybrid festival, so it can be experienced at home with the online-only Sohome Horror Film Festival which will run from November 30 – December 3, 2023. The lineup features quite a varied selection of horror movie goodness. Among the highlights is the opening international premiere of The Hyperborean, an out-there murder mystery with a Mummy from the writer of modern cult horror favorite Pontypool.
The festival also features an international premiere for queer folk horror Saint Drogo, a UK premiere for supernatural slasher Baby Blue, horror comedy Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls, and the in-person portion will close with hypnotic cultist crime opus Only the Good Survive. Opening the Sohome Horror Film Festival is demonic road trip movie Satranic Panic. That will be followed by the likes of alien parasite creature feature T-Blockers, the brutal Aussie movie Beaten to Death, Lovecraftian musical Eldritch, USA, the bonkers Carousehell 3, and closes with festive monster movie Santastein.
