The Melbourne Cricket Club is considering installing solar panels on the roof of the famous venue.
This column has learned an engineering analysis is being done to see if the roof is strong enough to take the weight needed to support the solar panels. Until this is completed, it's unclear how many panels could be installed and its impact on the reduction of emissions.
