UPDATE: Medina County residents on County Roads 2651 and 2652 should evacuate immediately as fire crews continue to work the brush fire, according to officials.
A massive brush fire in Medina County that started Friday is now 60% contained, according to the Medina County Office of Emergency Management.
Residential evacuations are no longer in effect, but county road 271 will likely remain closed until around 5 p.m. Saturday as fire crews work the scene. No structures have been lost and no injuries reported.At least 400 acres have burned so far near the Medina Lake area.About the Author:
