Zander Sutherland, 35, was reported missing on Thursday, April 11, at around 7:35pm after he did not return to HMP Castle Huntly after having been on home leave. He sentenced to 13-and-a-half years for dealing heroin in 2015
Daniel began his criminal career as a car and scrap metal dealer in Possilpark, Glasgow, before his gang waged a murderous drugs war in Glasgow with the Lyons family. Further fears were raised in 2020 that the Daniels and Lyons war would erupt in jail and the Scottish Prison Service tried to keep all of Zander's associates in Saughton Prison to avoid conflict.
