Sony said it has stopped selling its PlayStation console and software in Russia, and has shut down the PlayStation Store in the country
Sony Group Corp. said it has stopped selling its PlayStation videogame machine and software in Russia.
The company’s videogame unit, Sony Interactive Entertainment, said it “joins the global community in calling for peace in Ukraine.” It said it has suspended software and hardware shipments to Russia and shut down the PlayStation Store in the country. It has also suspended the introduction of “Gran Turismo 7,” a car-racing game recently released elsewhere.
