,” featured a raggedy Elvis impersonator doing karaoke of none other than Sorry’s new single itself. B-side “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” takes Sorry’s compellingly strange mixture of hubris and self-deprecation a little bit further: This time, it’s 22-year-old frontwoman Asha Lorenz in the Elvis costume .
The track is another moody, shapeshifting triumph from the young band, who haven’t had a single stumble yet. The video, which, like “Right Round the Clock,” was directed by Lorenz and Jasper Cable-Alexander, makes a bum out of the King, who drinks beer in the daylight, wanders through desolate streets and eats sandwiches alone in the park. In her pink wig, Lorenz also plays the part of the mysterious nocturnal muse, bringing both swaggering male musicians and their bogus fantasies down a peg.
