Lampard last managed at Chelsea in an interim spell at the end of the 2022-23 campaign, following Graham Potter’s sacking. He won just one of a possible 11 games upon his return to Stamford Bridge – where he was previously employed as the full-time manager between 2019 and 2021.Rangers are next in action against St Mirren on Sunday .
They face a crucial double-header against Sparta Prague on 26 October and 9 November with qualification for the Europa League’s group stages at stake.
