South African airline Comair has become the latest to ground their fleets of Boeing's 737 MAX 8 aircraft after one of its planes crashed in Ethiopia, killing all 157 onboard.
The incident comes less than six months after another Boeing 737 MAX 8 went down in Indonesia, killing the 189 passengers and crew on board. South Africa joins China and Indonesia in grounding the plane model, which was only released in 2017. The plane isn't in use in Australia, however, Virgin Australia has ordered 30 of the Boeing 737 MAX planes, which are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
