South Australia has recorded an additional 2552 new Covid-19 cases overnight, with nine people in intensive care.

Premier Steven Marshall said there had also been an increase in the number of people in hospital, with the figure now at 94.Nine people are in intensive care but none are on a ventilator.Mr Marshall said the latest numbers showed the Omicron strain was more transmissible, but the symptoms were far less than previous variants.
