South Australia has joined NSW, Victoria and Queensland in recording its biggest COVID increase to date.
On Wednesday, Premier Steven Marshall held a press conference and confirmed there had been 1471 cases in the past 24 hours.This is an increase of 476 with 995 cases recorded on Tuesday. “It’s a very significant increase in South Australia. We’re seeing the numbers double every three or four days,” the Premier said.
Hospitalisations in the state are still low at just 36 people and Mr Marshall said there are around five people in ICU.
