South Australia has recorded its deadliest day of the pandemic so far with 13 deaths added to the state’s toll on Wednesday, bringing the number of virus related fatalities in the state to 87.
The premier also confirmed the numbers on Wednesday and urged more South Australians to come forward for their vaccination this public holiday. Premier Steven Marshall advised traditional PCR tests are the preferred method of testing in South Australia for close contacts.“There are no lines for PCR tests and the results are coming through very quickly,” Mr Marshall said.
