Sky News host Caroline Di Russo says public sentiment was “captured perfectly” by a South Park episode about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “World Privacy Tour”.
“Harry and Meghan showed us who they are, and South Park just condensed and simplified it, and it resonated so well because it was the perfect caricature – the perfect cultural snapshot,” she said.“While the Sussexes may feel hard done by, the rest of us can’t quite work out what leverage they think they have or whose sympathy they’re trying to captivate,” she said.
“It’s a game without a game plan and a narrative without a storyline, and it continues to impact their popularity.”
