The victim escaped her captors Sunday morning and called for help, authorities said.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – A 33-year-old San Francisco man and an 18-year-old Stockton woman have been arrested on suspicion of abducting a 22-year-old woman and forcing her to work as a prostitute, police said.
An investigation revealed the victim had been abducted at gunpoint in Oakland on Sunday. Police said the suspects drove the victim to South San Francisco, where they assaulted her. She was then forced to prostitute herself in Oakland and San Francisco, police said. The suspects were booked into San Mateo County jail. The San Francisco man was booked on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, false imprisonment, human trafficking, pandering by procuring, criminal threats, pimping, stalking and kidnapping for ransom. The Stockton woman was booked on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, false imprisonment, criminal threats, stalking and kidnapping for ransom.
