Southwest Airlines' winter operations are getting a test this weekend in Denver.
Denver will get three to six inches of snow this weekend, according to Accuweather, the epicenter of last year’s winter meltdown.
“We have a lot of pride based on our 50-plus year history,” Watterson said. “So preparing to prevent something like that from happening again was and is an imperative.” Southwest also bought 15 deicing trucks at Denver, making the total number of trucks 40, five of which are closed cab trucks and the other 35 are open.
