The film stars Nikita Efrenov, who will play Alexey Pajitnov - a Russian programmer behind the addictive video game. Rocket Man star, Taron Egerton, will play the lead role of Dutch businessman Henk Rogers, who was involved in the formation of The Tetris Company. The movie was filmed around Glasgow in 2021, with a number of scenes shot in Tradeston and the city centre.Vintage Russian cars were among the classical props to transform the city into a 1980s Moscow.
