The new Motherwell signing enjoyed his first outing in the Premiership after helping the Steelmen sink Killie in a dramatic match

Brodie Spencer insists joining Motherwell on loan was a "no-brainer" after growing up watching Scottish football.

The Belfast boy set up Dan Casey to score the goal that cancelled out Marley Watkins' opener for Killie, before Harry Paton won it for Motherwell with the last kick of the ball in the seventh minute of stoppage time. "I've just been in the door a few days so it's a new system, new faces, everything was a bit new, so to be starting gives me a big confidence boost.

Spencer will be hoping to hold on to a starting jersey for Sunday's trip to the capital to face Hearts.
