Spring woman accused of kicking, stomping child relative’s head, court documents show

A Spring woman accused of stomping and kicking a 9-year-old family member’s head is out on bond after being arrested last Wednesday, according to court documents.

Alexis Jackson, 30, was arrested in the 4800 block of Aquagate Drive by Harris County Precinct 4 Constable deputies after a child welfare check revealed visible injuries to the 9-year-old, the office said in a social media post. Jackson was allegedly seen hurting the child on video, the court documents showed. The child was sent to a hospital for treatment.The 30-year-old, who was booked into the Harris County Jail, was released Friday after making $20,000 bond.

Child Protective Services was contacted after Jackson’s arrest, the constable’s office said. Court documents said the child “also reported not being fed ‘in a while.’”
