Guard Devin Vassell grew up watching NBA games on Christmas Day, a tradition he’ll continue Sunday, but he dreams of the day the Spurs are good enough to be playing in prime time Dec. 25.Spurs guard Devin Vassell plans to spend Christmas Day the same way he has since he was a kid — in front of the TV watching a slew of NBA games.
Vassell said he looks forward to the day the Spurs are good enough to once again play on Christmas, something they haven’t done since they beat Chicago 119-100 during the 2016-17 season on their way to a 61-21 record and a berth in the Western Conference Finals.
