They say the community was not asked about the statement and has no say in the selection of principal, despite paying up to $37,000 a year in fees.Julie Townsend, outgoing St Catherine’s principal “We are in preliminary discussions with a number of the schools affected, and we can see widespread support across the Sydney community for an inclusive approach to the recruitment of new school leaders,” the parents’ statement said. They declined to name the schools.
