It’s thought members of far right groups as well as groups linked to football clubs travelling from elsewhere in the UK are in attendance. The groups gathered in the Waterloo area before joining the event in Whitehall. But the Metropolitan Police were forced to intervene as attendees broke through the cordon an hour before the event began, with mounted officers intervening to restore it.
