Abandoned former Premier League club’s stadium which took 17 years to build now housing estate after being left to rot
It first opened its doors in 1946 after World War TwoIt once hosted over 55,000 people for a game against Man UnitedHull City continued to play at Boothferry Park until 2002, when they moved to their current home.
However, the stadium no longer stands there these days after demolition work running from 2008 to 2011.And little remains to remind those present of what used to be.Hull left Boothferry Park in 2002 and it was left abandoned for five yearsCredit: News Group Newspapers Ltd
